# Star Trek TOS on MeTV March 9, 2015

I thought this would be timely following Leonard Nimoy’s death last week. The retro network MeTV has been broadcasting the original Star Trek series on Saturday nights. Beginning on Monday March 9, episodes will also air daily at 4:00 in the afternoon. It looks like they’ll run in the original broadcast order beginning with “The Man Trap,” which was the first episode broadcast of the original run. SLAP (Sit long and prosper. \// )

They are, but I like those. They didn’t go all Lucas with the new special effects and go overboard with them. I’m not a purist, I think the enhancements are nicely done.

Cool. The remote control in\* Spock’s Brain\* now has a keypad instead of three buttons, but one of my favorite pieces of dialogue in one episode was edited out. The other space ships look much better now.
