Am I incredibly insane, or is there another 3 story lines/Episodes to Star Wars? Or better yet, are really that sure that III is the “final” chapter? Didn’t Lucas say that about Return of the Jedi? ((or so I was told, I wasn’t around the first time for that)) Also Why do the Ewok Adventures and others not get as much press? ---

I hear Lucas was quoted as saying “This is a story about Anakin” Implying that another three films would be pointless. What **I** would like to see is a complete remake of 4,5 and 6! ---

From what I remember, Lucas originally said he was planning two make three trilogies with Eps 7-9 to follow the prequels. Now he says he’s just going to quit after ROTS and not do 7-9. ---

I appreciate the Zahn novels as fill-ins for Episodes 7-9. I don’t know if I’m alone there or not. But I’m pretty sure Lucas will hang up the sabers after ROTS. ---

Nope, you’re not alone. I came into this thread specifically to say that. If they were to make 7-9, Zahn’s novels would be an excellent source. ---

I swear to god that I wish I could just fix the glaring crap that Lucas pulled – the Ewoks, that f\*cking child in Ep. 1, and the rest of the gratuitous child-pandering _cuteness_. Hell, if he had cast a 13-year-old as Anakin I’d forgive him Jarjar Binks. ---

It’d be easier to overlook the film’s insipid attempts at cuteness if we didn’t have the future Darth Vader saying “Yippee!” You could, in theory, forgive Jar Jar if that crap hadn’t pervaded the movie and screwed up characters who actually mattered. ---

The only two parts which looked really bad to me was (1) Greedo scene, and (2) young Anakin as part of the ghost trio. Seriously wtf?? ---

I think he’s missing a great opportunity by not making the third trilogy. He could just declare that the only things that are canon are the movies, ignore all the novels that have been written, and make the third trilogy any damn way he wants to, rather than harnessing himself the way he did making the first trilogy. ---
