Looking up some plot leaks and attempted constructions of the plot I have concerns it sounds too damn frantic and stuffed. One or more of the new characters have to be Skywalker or Skywalker/Solo offspring, probably not Finn, but Rey or Kylo or Poe. (guessing Rey and Kylo are twins and on opposite sides). Also the lightsaber macguffin sounds odd. And Luke supposedly has only a few second cameo before the credits. ---

Kylo = S **ky** -So **lo** is the speculation some folks have made, making him Leia and Han’s kid. Pure speculation. ---

[The Fourth Doctor is going to be involved in the new franchise in some way](http://www.scififantasynetwork.com/tom-baker-cast-in-star-wars/). We don’t know if it’s in the films, cartoons, or whatever else though. However, this raises obvious questions. If I can speculate on the plot of the new trilogy. Ep7 is called The Force Awakens, the trailers have Luke telling someone they are strong in the force like his family, there is also someone possibly the villains saying do you feel it? There has been a awakening of the force. Ok this movie is set 30+ years after the OT, the galaxy is in a disarray following 30+ years of fighting between the rebels and Empire and its remnants and Luke is apparently in hiding or seclusion at the start of the movie. With the rebels keeping them busy and Palps gone force users are exploding galaxy wide and being born all over, this is leading to a resurgence of the force. A group of darkside force users are attempting to collect artifacts and restart the sith order, possibly lead by Han and Leias son. The plot of the ST is going to be convincing Luke to get his ass out of hiding and start finding and training these force users as jedi, but not like the old jedi order. I think it could be easily argued this was the plot running through all the films, the force itself wanted the jedi AND sith gone! Wanted force sensitivity to spread once more, and tons of both light and darkside users. ---

So she will be tempted by both sides of the force and must choose, or she is a grey force user or brings balance or something? Maybe a new way forward that combines both sides into a new single force user discipline.
