I know suspension of belief for Star Wars is a HUGE part of the fun but lines like that just ruin things for me when I’m sitting in a theater. The Millennium Falcon is the ship that made the “Kessel Run” in “less than 12 parsecs.” Not the ship that made it “across the Atlantic in 30 minutes.” Luke wanted to go to “Toshi station to pick up some power converters” not go to “Pep Boys and get an alternator.” :smack: This is the first time since the trailers started coming out that I’m starting to think this might be a turd. I still have that possibility at about 30% but it’s growing in my mind. ---

It doesn’t really bother me in either case, personally. I actually get more annoyed by dialogue that is self-consciously “sci-fi’d”. But I can understand your reaction. ---
