It’s not like it’s referencing a specific real-world ideology. It’s not a specifically Christian or Muslim or whatever concept: most real life cultures have some form of “a place bad people go when they die.” It’s cropped up often enough here on Earth, I’d be more surprised if a similar idea _didn’t_ also exist somewhere in the Star Wars universe. ---

I’m liking pretty much everything I’ve seen so far, and have no problem at all with the “Hell No” line. However, One thing that is taking me out of the trailers, and I can’t put my finger on what it is…but the close up shot of Chewbacca’s hand clicking the detonator. I guess I never thought of Chewy having fingers instead of paw like hands. ---

Interesting to see a stormtrooper in a duel against a lightsaber, using some sort of metal thing. Wonder if it’s new lightsaber-hardened tech, or just happened to be something the lightsaber couldn’t cut through like butter. ---

Thanks Lobot; I saw it on TV last night and couldn’t find it on the Star Wars youtube site. My guess, if it hasn’t already been made, is that the bad guy kills Luke early on. That’s to prove (to the audience) how bad-ass he is although maybe Luke gives himself up a la Obi Wan. ---

Harrison Ford has been out promoting this a lot lately. But, besides [the Star Wars Jimmy Kimmel episode last week](http://abc.go.com/shows/jimmy-kimmel-live/video/star-wars-the-force-awakens/VDKA0_swf7hdvz)…has anyone else from the movie been out promoting or is it to early. I am glad to see that Ford seems to be excited about the movie, much more than the other movies he has promoted in recent years. ---

It does seem incredibly likely Han Solo dies in this. I think others will return for Episode VIII, but I have heard very little about Harrison Ford working on it. I would be Han dying was part of him agreeing to appear. ---

The engine nacelles split into two halves when the S-foils are open. How in the world is that supposed to work? Instead of 4 nacelles they have two, which split into 4 halves that are half-circles when open. So no turbines? I dig the books that do detailed engineering designs of the spacecraft and explain all the components. I’d like to see these explained. They look sleeker…just not functional. (Not that a Tie-Fighter looks functional. But this is the X-Wing, man). –Joe ---
