Now _that_ was scary… There was the Klingon who ran the restaurant aboard DS9 Also, General Martok told the tale of how he’d made top grades in the Klingon academy, only to have Kor veto his officer’s commission because he wasn’t high-born enough. So Martok became a galley assistant or janitor or something like that to get on a warbird. ---

Hutts do have butts. In _Wraith Squadron_, one of my all time favorite books, my all time favorite character Face Loran makes the comment It’s as unpleasant as a Hutt’s butt in here! ---

Hutts are born into crime and they love it. The fact that Jabba wasn’t affected by the Force doesn’t mean Hutts can’t be Force sensitive. It just means that Jabba has too strong willed a mind to be affected by the “Jedi Mind Trick”. Jabba even yells at Bib Fortuna tha he’s a “weak-minded fool” as the reasoning for his falling prey to the trick. Besides, there was a Hutt Jedi in one awful book, but he was criminal in nature as well. Psychopachik Vampire ---

Jabba’s actually known as ‘the Hutt’ because Lucas, in the original _Star Wars_, wanted to imply seediness without adding a lot of unnecessary exposition, so he appropriated and modified the name of a colourful lowlife who was practically a household word circa 1977 – Jimmy the Greek. ---
