From what I’ve been able to tell, his politics don’t completely line-up with those of the GOP. Really, however, this thread points out the failure of the American political system. We have folks like The Governator who call themselves Republican, but _clearly_ don’t mesh with the core of the GOP. I’d be willing to bet that most of the Hollywood folks, like The Governator, are what’s referred to as “California Republicans” (i.e. they agree with a few parts of the GOPs platform, but dramatically diverge from the GOP on issues such as abortion, gay rights, and the like). ---

[/QUOTE] I can’t provide a cite, but I am being serious: during the cholera ridden last years of that show she actually had a deal with Linda Bloodworth-Thomason that for every liberal rant she had to play on the show she got to sing a song at a later date. (She was trying to boost her singing career at the time.) ---

He’s divorced from any interest in the political process or the expected near-future self-destruction of our species except as entertainment. I haven’t quite gotten there yet.
