# Starship Trooper (movie) fans: Want a model actually used in the film?

A friend of mine is selling this model made for and used in _Starship Troopers_ (1997) on eBay. Here’s what he says about it:

These small ships, used in filming, were on a black base (so the one auctioned in 2011 either had its wood base changed out, or perhaps was not used on camera, maybe made for one of the studio exec’s). We had the 18"-ers, 9’-ers, and the 18’ Roger Young model that was used for the break apart shot. We always referred to the little guys as the 18" Roger Young (although it actually measures to about 19" in length). It is somewhat dusty, but I don’t think I should attempt to tidy it. Selling it as is / as you see it (a collector/owner, who knows what they are doing, will probably clean it up better than I can). Copy of Screening Report is next to last picture in this listing - showing use of the 8 maquettes (of which mine is one) in production. I’ll include a clean copy (no red lines) of this report to be shipped with the spaceship.
