I’m putting this here because it’s a poll. Some of you young punks (term of endearment, I swear :D) have no idea what it’s like to watch first run, prime-time programs that include absolute crap like “Starskey & Hutch”. Unfortuately, some of us do. I never liked that show, and I was so low I loved shows like Happy Days!!!:eek::rolleyes: But the new S&H movie looks to me like it’s going to be really funny. So… before it actually comes out, what’s your prediction? Looks funny, or looks stupid. A bonus would be to give your age when the original show was on prime-time. (it’ll give introspect into your opinion). ---

It actually looks funny to me. In high school, when I wore a wind breaker with my collar up. everyone said I looked like Starsky! ---

I think it looks very funny…but then again, I would pay to watch Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson sit on a couch for two hours. I can’t help it, I just find those two naturally funny. I was -2 when it started, +2 when it finished. ---

It could go either way, but the cast is definitely a plus. Snoop Dog as Huggy Bear is probably the best casting of the decade. ---

I like the casting of snoop as huggy, but I think the rest of the movie looks terrible. Ben Stiller as the intense cop and Owen Wilson as the relaxed cop. Thats great casting. Add on the director of Old School and Road Trip… Movies like this make me want to stay home and watch the Fox Network. ---

Looks funny. As **drm** said, Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller would have to try really hard to not produce _something_ funny in an hour and a half of screen time. And I’m 20 now, but don’t know when the show was originally aired. I did watch reruns occaisionally in high school. I was impressed to note that Starsky is left handed in the film. ---

Was a big fan of Starsky & Hutch when it was first on. Am a big fan of Ben & Owen. And Snoop as Huggy Bear is inspired. The icing on the cake. Can’t wait to see it.
