It wasn’t so much his defense of Paterno. It was the disgusting, explicit lengths he went to do so. And let’s not forget, he also dismissed the comments from posters who had been molested as children, when they attempted to offer up their own experiences as evidence. This really is classic **Starving Artist**. He comes in, defending his original comment, oblivious to the fact that it was in such staggeringly bad taste. There actually was a reasonable point to be made in there somewhere: nonetheless he writes with such atrocious misogynist venom that it doesn’t matter. Bad manners would be a huge improvement. I can only assume in real life his behavior is much better, how the heck else could he possibly have any friends? That is, assuming his going out for a drink with a friend was with a real and not an imaginary one, and that his friend isn’t just a vile, despicable troglodyte like he is. ---

As an incidental note, an anti-SA agenda is not a necessary precursor to conclude that he’s a jerk and a liar. If you want such an agenda anyway, I’m sure it’s rather easier to assemble than a Duplo structure. ---
