Statuary Hall

Rhode Island - I am going with Nat Greene and Roger Williams.

I win.

Wisconsin kept Fighting Bob Lafollette, even though if he’d come back from the dead and run on his same principles they’d paint him red and string him up.

Maryland - Francis Scott Key and Lord Baltimore, George Calvert.

Nope. John Hanson (President of the Continental Congress) and Charles Carroll (Senator and signatory on the Declaration of Independence). Both good choices.

I guessed one right. Actually, I guessed both, but hoped that I wasn’t correct about the second.

California: Fr. Junipero Serra and Ronald Reagan.

New York: George Clinton was spoiled for me, and I was not yet spoiled by Livingston, so I was guessing Hamilton for the other (though I did remember that the Hall was filled with surprising choices).

For mine, I ruled ineligible everyone on the actual Mt. Rushmore and the people I picked for my personal NYS Mt. Rushmore a little while ago here, so…FDR and Walt Whitman.
