If this is a reply to me , I don’t think that’s the difference. When I said a few years younger , I meant it . When those 18 year olds were getting married in 1977, I was 14 but by the time I turned 18 things were different. I’m not sure what changed , but I don’t think openness to discussing power dynamics made that big a difference on its own. ---
