Okay, I know not all songs have a meaning to them. Accept this as I do, I am still puzzled by a song by LEN, called Steal My Sunshine. Does this confusing mess of words have a solid meaning? Note : lyrics deleted. Read the sticky thread at the top of the thread list, please. ---

Those lyrics are a clear example of what smoking WAY too much pot will do to your brain. It is one of my favorite songs, it’s just one of those songs where even though the lyrci makes less then no sense, the melody is good enough to carry the song and the words don’t jump out at you and ruin it. ---

I always figured it was (very vaguely) about thinking longingly about someone you love, looking forward to seeing them around, worrying that you’re screwing up, etc. Very, _very_ vaguely. ---

I like the video – they’re zipping down the road on vespas; the lead singer is singing and when the “Steal My Sunshire” refrain comes on, his sister stands up on the back of the scooter and sings that. But at one point in the song the little refrain isn’t there but the girl forgets that (as I always used to do when I would sing along on the radio), stands up and starts to sing it, which is when you realize that they’re actually lipsynching (because she blows it) but then, the best part is that she knows she blew it and you can see (but of course not hear) her go “Fuck!” It’s classic. –Cliffy ---

I **really** hate the song, because of whatever synthesizer trick they’re using to create the “beat”. They managed to make one of the most annoying sounds ever put in a song…however, “Feelin’ Alright” doesn’t make my head ache, so I guess they’re not _all_ bad. ---
