I enjoyed Borderlands 2 single player but it wasn’t anything I felt compelled to continue after finishing the main story. I know you can replay it for higher levels, more skills, etc but once was all I needed. ---

I’m not certain if I’m breaking some code here, but something I just ran into; DayZ standalone is $29.99 but Arma II X is $9.99 - it contains everything you need for DayZ. The DayZ mod is a free download. ---

The Day Z standalone is a different game than the free DayZ mod. Different development path, different features, etc. They exist concurrently. I don’t know what the current stage of the various DayZ splinter mods are, as I stopped playing when the hacking got out of control, but since the standalone is a fresh start, it’s potentially better. But it’s very clear about being an early development alpha and nowhere near a finished product at this point. I’m steering clear until I see how it develops. ---
