Mods, this could also belong in Cafe Society, but it also has sports content.

The star of the upcoming English-language version of _The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo_ is [Rooney Mara](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rooney_Mara). As her name implies, she is part of both the Rooney (Steelers owners) and Mara (New York Giants owners) families.

I dunno about the Steelers, but this is the best Giants connection to show business since [Jordin Sparks](http://idol-mania.com/american-idol-fan/2007/05/29/jordin-sparks-father-phillippi-sparks-story/).

What about Jason Seahorn marrying Angie Harmon (after proposing on “The Tonight Show”)?

Not a bad link either, but that occurred several years before Jordin won American Idol.

Although I did forget LT’s appearance on Dancing With The Stars. That was only 2009.
