I saw Stepbrothers yesterday and I have mixed feelings about it. It is absolutely a bad movie that no one should see, but I laughed my ass off the entire time. Highbrow it is not, but if you are in the mood for stoopid, then see it. spoiler space If seeing Will Farrell’s balls is something you’d rather not do, then skip it or close your eyes and hold them tight. I told my boyfriend that I’ve now seen Will Farrell’s nutsack more than I’d seen his. _shudder_ ---

My expectations for this movie were pretty low, as Will Farrell and John C. Reilly have been on a pretty disappointing streak of the same formula over and over. However, I had a blast watching this movie - plenty of out-loud laughs at jokes I’d _never_ repeat in front of my mother. ---

I personally thought the movie was hilarious. **Hockey Monkey** that part was the funniest! It’s fantastic for what it is. Mindless comedy. I liked it. ---

Let me try to add some balance here. Don’t ever go to see this waste of good celluloid. It wasn’t funny at all IMHO. It was just barely interesting enough to keep me from walking out. Of course, YMMV. J. ---

Coarse, vulgar, gross, dumb, lacks social relevance and is STUPID. Really funny though. Laffed a lot. A lot. Maybe shouldn’t have taken 2 eleven year old boys, but they did laugh, only not in the same places I did. By and large.
