[This report](https://celebrity.yahoo.com/news/police-swarm-7th-heaven-star-stephen-collins-rental-044106530.html;_ylt=AwrTWVXQwDRUbmYABqPQtDMD) says that the suicide thing was a false alarm. Unfortunately, something like this may still happen. His career is over. One of the articles I read said he was cleared of the charges in 2012. I wonder why nothing came out then or earlier when these molestations happened? He was never a huge star but he’s been around for a while, you’d think if there were charges brought against him it would have leaked sooner. ---

Jeffrey Jones got 35 episodes of Deadwood and at least a couple movies after making the Sex Offender Registry, according to IMDB. There are other kid touchers that get work, or at least get funds and high-profile people willing to work with/for them. ---

It was reported decades later. I’ll have to go back and try to find it but I believe he was “cleared” because of the statute of limitations. He wasn’t cleared so much as they couldn’t prosecute by law. ---
