# Stephen King's Dark Tower series--extremely M/P question

Mundane and pointless in the extreme, but it’s driving me nuts!
I’m listening to the series for the first time on CD–I’ve got a lot of isolated, quiet time at work and it’s completely captivating. I’m really, really enjoying it, but one thing that’s driving me nuts…
What in the _hell_ is the name of the river near the Calla? The word shows up a couple times in different forms, but I’m having a hard time imagining how it’s spelled, and for some reason that’s driving me insane. Phonetically it sounds like dee-ver-tee-tee-why. I won’t have access to a paper copy until I can get to a library next week, so I’m hoping someone here knows.
Incidentally, did anyone else have the mad urge to start greeting people with “long days and pleasant nights” and calling them “sai”? 😉

That’s the camp/prison/small town where the breakers worked, and where our ka-tet slew the guards and freed some of the breakers.

Oh, yeah. It was the only thing that I could think of that sounded like the phonetical spelling she presented.

The two words sound almost exactly the same in the audio, only with different suffixes.
