# Steve Jobs is NOT dead, he was just loading slowly

[If you ever wanted to know what Steve Jobs’ obituary on Bloomberg would have looked like, here it is.](http://gawker.com/5042795/steve-jobss-obituary-as-run-by-bloomberg) This kind of thing happens occasionally and today it happened to Bloomberg: they were updating their obit and accidentally made it public.

[Something similar happened to CNN in 2001](http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/cnnobit1.html). Although I note that most of their subjects are now dead. Coincidence, or something more sinister…? :eek:

Steve Jobs is one of my geek crushes (alongside Bill Nye the Science Guy) so I’m very relieved that he’s not dead.
