Does anyone ever get the urge to poke him in the eye with a sharp stick? I think that it would be a great boone to mankind to get him out of the public scene. Dude, your gettin’ a DELL! UGH! ---

Why do people hate this kid!? OR Jim Carrey… he makes SOME (maybe not you) laugh. That’s SO evil of him! And he was great in the Truman Show to many people even if they don’t like his comedy. DAMN IT! I love Carrey! But back to the Dell guy… I never saw him do anything THAT bad. Too much hate, makes me think some of you really have issues. It’s one thing to hate a movie, or TV show, or ad… it’s another to want to hurt people. Most of them are here to entertain and make people happy. ---

He’s growing more grating as exposure to him increases. He’s for the most part a one-trick pony and Dell’s pretty much wrung everything out of the gag that’s going to be wrung (although since I saw on Headline News that Dell is now selling “Dudewear” clothing Dell obviously doesn’t think so). Personally I can forgive Steven a lot because of my fond memory of his Christmas ad and the “extreme constriction of his tights.” ---

I don’t care how fuckable he is, every time I see him I want to punch him in the face. Then I realize I would hurt myself because I’m actually punching the TV screen. ---

Whether you think the guy’s a dreamboat or not, the ads themselves are D-U-M-B. And what’s with the fascination of someone talking and acting like a stoned surfer anyway? From day one these ads turned me off; stupidity squared (poorly written showcasing a character who speaks as if he left 8th grade for better things and never went back). So there. Dude. ---

The problem with the Dell kid is the same problem with so many other commercials and the characters that appear in them. They just get so overplayed! Even the ones that are kind of funny or cute or otherwise interesting end up getting tedious after you see them several million times. ---

I cannot stand him. I especially can’t stand the most recent commercial where he’s in the convertible with the girl and the next-door-neighbor guy asks him about computers. Argh. He’s had his 30 seconds of fame. It’s time for him to either move on to a UPN sitcom or disappear into oblivion. ---

I saw the tail end of an interview with him on Headline News tonight, pitching the “Dudewear” clothes. He seemed a little defensive about being Steven, seeing as how he mentioned like four times in a three minute interview that he’s been training to be an actor since sometime before birth. This summer he’s going abroad to study “Shakespeare and experimental theatre.” And yeah, I’d do him in a New York minute. ---

There should be some signature torture move, like a “wedgie” or an “Indian rope burn” that could be introduced in the commercials. Like a punch in the adam’s apple. Call it a “dell”. Then basically people could should up in the commericals, say that damn line, “Dude, you’re getting a Dell”, and then punch that guy in the adam’s apple. Repeatedly. I see no other way to continue this mine of commercials. ---
