# Stewie from Family Guy

This may be one of my last posts for the next 1 or 2 weeks until I come back as a member but since in between I will still be cruising the boards please answer this question…Stewie from “Family Guy”…what kind of accent does he have?
I know it’s not english and I also have known of at least one person who talked like Stewie. Personally I think it sounds dope as heck coming from a baby, my brother and I are trying to get the accent down so we can talk like that.
What part of the country do people sound like Stewie come from? Is this a rich and well educated persons accent?

It’s Seth MacFarlane’s attempt at British Received Pronunciation, the English of the upper crust of society. MacFarlane says he based Stewie’s accent (and certainly some of Stewie’s personality) on Rex Harrison’s character on _My Fair Lady_.
