There’s a baby panda, named Tai Shan, at the National Zoo in Washington, DC; you can watch him on the Panda Cam [here](http://animal.discovery.com/cams/pandavidr.html). And actually, people gushing about pandas serves a useful purpose – attention paid to a cute endangered species like the panda helps get funding for not-so-cute species. It’s really not just a plot to piss you off, **QuickSilver**. ---

Of course, according to Serling’s Law of Ironic Consequences, I think we can all guess what **QuickSilver** ’s next incarnation on the Cosmic Wheel is destined to be. Hope you _reeeally_ like the taste of bamboo, pal. This is why I’m careful to reserve my strongest antipathy for species with proper thumbs. It does take balls picking on cute baby Panda’s though. It almost sounds like you wanted to be abused. Do you just hate news devoted to bad coverage? Pit that instead and cite the overexposure of Pandas as an example. That would be appropriate and would generate support.
