The actor who player Werner Turner on one show was involved in another show. His son convinced him to add a special guest character to one episode of that second show. Star Wars was the inspiration for it. ---

Conrad Janis played a military man and father to a girl who was an artist, but wouldn’t draw her father (“It’s not like you have to draw hair!”), and she was on a date with… Regular Happy Days character here, folks. Any guess will probably be right. And it ain’t the Fonz. ---

If kunilou is right, I’ll have to call a little bit of a protest. Tom Poston didn’t appear until about half way through the show’s run and was never listed as a regular cast member. Thus, he shouldn’t be considered the main character’s “old buddy”. ---

Second, I never claimed that Poston was a regular cast member. But The Peeper was The Mooner’s old college buddy. I think the question was a valid one. Besides, why make it easy on you? Congrats to all for solving this. It was a good team effort. I’m going to think up another one, but in the meantime, post your own if you want. ---
