Does the mistake you are referring to mean starting this thread when told not to, or not understanding the thing you were warned about?

That seems pretty clear. Though it seems you think there is some light between using a past character’s name to refer to a new character (Adama for his Shield character) and using a past character for the actual actor (Kirk for Shatner). Just to head it off, there is no meaningful light between those two types of pedantic responses.
