NONE of the Astaire/Rogers musicals are on DVD. NONE of them. That’s outrageous! A boxed set would be nice. Speaking of musicals I’d also like _The Band Wagon_, _Holiday Inn_, _Summer Stock_ and anything with Deanna Durbin. My VHS copy of _Ball of Fire_ is wearing out so that needs to be on DVD as does _Ninotchka_. As far as TV is concerned, I’ve had a yen to see _Homefront_ again. ---

I yearn for a copy of this so much that I actually contacted the director, who said it would be available ‘soon’, but that must have been a year ago or more. ---

_King Kong_. I figured they’d have put out some kind of special edition for the seventieth anniversary last year, but I guess not. I hope they’re just waiting to piggyback on Peter Jackson’s version. ---

It originated from Europe. I don’t get why Disney won’t pull their heads out of their asses and release it here. There’s nothing more offensive than what was in some of those On the Front Lines cartoons, and what _could_ be considered offensive could be cleared up with a 2 minute Leonard Maltin intro. Besides, with the kind of pacing that movie has, most kids these days probably won’t even want to watch it unsupervised anyway… ---

Even the original movies are barebones, and the Muppet Show and Fraggle Rock are only selected episodes. But since the buyout of Henson by Disney, new DVDs are one of the many things planned on happening.
