I though this was one of the problems with Lucy. It would take more than eliminating the stupid stock shots and Morgan Freeman to save this film. ---

As an exact opposite example, this was used to perfection in **Airplane!** , where Striker has Vietnam flashbacks, and they eventually show stock footage of failed early attempts at flight. ---
