When I was a lad, I used AOL. _:beats breast:_ I remember that, in their Stock Market section, they let me pretend to buy stocks and put them in a portfolio. Then, I could track them, essentially playing the stock market; I was just using Monopoly money. I know that Yahoo! lets me create a portfolio and track it, but it doesn’t record a specific number of shares of each, or the value (and progress) of that portfolio. Does anyone know of a website that will let me do this? I want to start with, let’s say, $1000.00 (pretend) and play it in the market to see how it would go if I actually had the inclination to do so for real. ---

I found one. It’s [InvestSmart](http://library.thinkquest.org/10326/index.html). But, even cooler than that, is that I used their tools to create the first ever SDMB Stock Market Game!
