They don’t turn me off, but I’m not a fan. They strike me as trite. For those who need to dress up to be sexy. Nothing sexier to me than a woman wearing whatever she happens to be wearing, and she just makes it sexy. It’s all about the person, not the lingerie. ---

One of the best Playboy covers I remember was Vicki Lynn Smith and just a glimse of stocking top and garter clasp. Ladies, remember to put the garter belt on before the panties (if you wear them) ---

No, not really. Not a turn-off either, just nothing special. Since people seem to be assuming a stockings&garters-pantyhose dichotomy, let me add that pantyhose are a lot worse. ---

I’m afraid I don’t find garters at all sexy, despite all the imagery. I think I remember those elastic-with-metal-clips garter deals my aunts used to use (and which were all over the place). They looked too utilitarian to be sexy, and certainly I didn’t think my aunts were sexy. I also don’t see the allure of seamed stockings, which apparently really do it for some guys. ---

But I like 'em as part of a “vintage” outfit, especially a '30s-'50s one. Overall, though, I prefer bare legs. ---
