Whenever I name a pet immediately, I always end up changing it. I always end up “accidentally” calling them something else, and eventually one name just sticks. (I have a parrotlet now, that I named Spritle originally. But his name just kind of became Bebop. Nothin I could do about it.) ---

My last dog was a Norwegian Elk Hound that seemed to be always hungry. So I named it **MA-HER-SHAL-AL-HASH-BAZ** from the Bible book of Isaiah. It means, “O hasten to the spoil.” ---

I want a dox, but I don’t know if we’ll ever get a dog (they’re more upkeep than we’re wanting right now). And I have her name picked out already (it’s not even remotely German, however), but I’ll loan it to you if you like it. Ready? Moxie. Moxie the doxie. It couldn’t be better!
