I’ve had no use for her ever since she made probably-false accusations that her father molested her. There are too many families where that IS true, and what she did was beyond insulting to them. ---

I swear I spend far more time crafting and editing the “special instructions” for my Grub Hub orders than a good number of politicians, actors, and other public people do with Tweets, texts, and other electronic media that can be read by millions of people. In the Good Olde Days one could (sometimes) plausibly deny having said something in a meeting or to a reporter. Now Anthony Weiner’s dick pics and Roseanne’s tweet equating Af-Americans to apes belong to the ages (as do my elegant requests for a side of bleu cheese dressing and extra napkins). ---

Heh, some freeper posted that Roseane can’t be a racist, because she has a gay daughter\* and a black granddaughter… appearing on her show. That is even more sad than the old “some of my best friends are black” excuse, that looks like ‘some of the actors I have in the TV show, who play as my relatives, are gay or black’. - This looks to me like a very old cartoon where Santa Claus is defending himself in an interview with ACLU lawyers and he says: “Please, I continue to look to get minorities employed, but at least many of the elves are gay!” ---
