Also, _Barton Fink_.

What I’d like to do is get all the people responsible for the idiotic packaging of [Due South](http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00006RG6Y/qid=1100657838/sr=8-2/ref=pd_csp_2/102-3337898-5341707?v=glance&s=dvd&n=507846) and force them to watch “Elmo’s World” until their heads explode.

$100 dollars buys you three, double sided DVDs, with no extras. You get a little page insert with a list of the episodes.

Oh, and two of the DVDs are overlapped. What joy is mine.

After reading the Amazon reviews I counted myself lucky that my DVDs arrived in one piece. (Though I bought them from Amazon Canada - $30 cheaper, and that’s with shipping included!)

Wait, what do you mean by “overlapped”? Surely you don’t mean you have half of one episode on one disc and have to put in another disc to finish the episode.

I had a fun one. It was a DVD that I bought (“Idle Hands”, for the record) at Best Buy. I got it home, pressed the little button that’s supposed to pop the DVD free… and CRACK! Broken DVD.

And just show me the menu when I ask for it. No, I don’t want to sit through your three minute animation of going down a hallway or scenes from the movie or other extraneous cuteness that shows me how technologically advanced you are. Yes, I know it took a long time and it’s cool. I still don’t want to sit through it. Show me the blasted menu so I can play the movie. That’s what I have the DVD for - to watch the movie. Not for your cool, expensive, time wasting animations.

Not quite that bad (though they did split up a two-parter), but I think, worse.

It holds three DVD, two on one side, one on the other. The side with two DVDs is made so that the DVDs have to physically overlap. _grumble_ More opportunity for scratches. And then when you take the first one out, you have to be careful of the second…and to get to the second, you have to remove the first first.
I ended up just using some spare CD cases to hold the DVDs.
