This. I’m not panicking, but am very sad. I and my wife should be OK. But it sucks to see the country circling the drain. The hate of someone different than you is incomprehensible to me. The support of people that just want to take your rights is incomprehensible to me. The support of people that just want to take your money is incomprehensible to me. ---

It matters, but for the time being I can’t watch. Just the mere mention of _names_ even is a gut punch all over again. Every name reminds me of yet another contemptible person given power over millions of people, or a person of integrity and courage who now will be humbled at best. I’ve had to unsubscribe from all the politics channels. ---

It may not matter if you personally don’t ever vote again, but it certainly matters when many people don’t vote. It’s likely the main reason Harris lost this time around. So I hope you reconsider and keep voting. It’s the least we can do, and at least you’ll know you did your part even if it doesn’t result in the desired outcome. ---

I’d be less worried if he nominated someone who put their oath to uphold the Constitution and the rule of law above absolute fealty to the president. While immunity doesn’t apply to cabinet members, Trump still has pardon power and has already he’s not afraid to use it to protect loyal followers. This makes his cabinet, basically, untouchable for the next four years. You know what they say about absolute power. This is getting pretty close. Treasury? Jared Kushner or Don Jr. I think its about time that he announces Tucker Carlson or Alex Jones as his Press Secretary. Sean Hannity would make an excellent Communications Director. ---
