I find it amusing that he’s named himself after Augusto Sandino, (I’m guessing), when Sandino was NOT a communist. His namesakes, the Sandinistas were. Not Sandino himself. ---

{Highjack} The “Chowder and Marching Society” derives, I think, from the Walt Kelly’s long gone but not forgotten comic strip _POGO_. It was the Okefenokee, or Fort Mudge, or Bridgeport, Chowder and Marching Society, as I recall. All of which should bring on a rousing rendition of _Deck Us All with Boston Charlie_. Nope, at least for me, it was from the wonderful, but (gawddamnit) forgotten"Barnaby and Mr. O’Malley" comic strip which featured the Elves, Gnomes and Little Men Chowder And Marching Society. Dammit, someone should reprint _every_ Barnaby strip on heavy paper, including the sunday strips. Sigh. ---

In fact, I’m sure you feel like crying racism when the wind blows in a direction you aren’t exactly comfortable with. Makes me wonder how much of this “racism” is real and how much of it is just your paranoid imaginings. ---
