My head is spinning, and I feel completely discumbobulated. How did I manage to spend most of yesterday thinking it was Wednesday, thus leading me to believe that today was Thursday up until two minutes ago? Why didn’t anyone TELL me I was 24 hours off? Damn, I suppose this means tomorrow isn’t Friday. . . ☹ ---

Heh…I pulled just the opposite today. We’re on our “summer hours” schedule, where in any given two-week period, we work an extra hour per day for seven days and get an extra day off. I came in today to find the rest of my team looking at me oddly. “What’re you doing here today? Today is your off-day”. “What?” I replied, “No it’s not…my off-day is Wednesday this week”. “Errr… **Hal** …” :smack: Coulda _sworn_ today was Tuesday. But, hell with it…I have an hour commute to get here, so I wasn’t about to turn around and go home. So, now I have off tomorrow instead. I plan on remembering that fact in the morning. ---

The store where I work is closed Sundays and Mondays. I don’t work Tuesdays, either, normally. I find this very confusing. Wednesday always feels like Monday until I remember that we’re closed on Mondays, so it must be Tuesday. By Friday I normally have this down. Unfortunatly, it’s rinse and repeat every week. Ah, for when school started and life becomes an unending stream of 12 hour work days with no variation. ---

I can’t tell you how confused I was when I opened this thread this morning and didn’t look at the OP date. And since I spent all last night thinking it was Thursday night, I’m severely screwed up right now. Yes, yes, I hear you–“What do you mean _right now_?” ---

I once had a consultant (a very expensive consultant) not show up for a meeting because he “thought it was still Sunday.” I was absolutely stunned. Eventually I got rid of him.
