Probably because once you’re behind a single payment they don’t allow you access to your stuff, for just this reason.
My wife and I started watching this in the past month and it’s the reality show exception (to me) that proves the rule that these things all suck. Yeah, it’s scripted and all that (sometimes badly: I saw one episode where a guy went straight to a drawer to pull out the big find. Question: how did he know to step over 5 feet of tubs to get to this one drawer? :dubious: ), but it’s pretty damned funny at times because I recognize some of the people in the show as acquaintances/family that I have in my real life (for example, my uncle acts a lot like Dave*.)
Also, something about Barry sounds like he’s done professional voice work in his past - he was a DJ, emcee, something. Anybody else get this impression?
*In one episode, Barry finds an old baseball card. Dave, pissed off 'cause he didn’t get it, shoots off with “I’ve got pallets of those cards behind my store”, which is exactly the sort of ludicrous “I’ve GOT to have the last word in” statement my uncle would make.
Will it be called
Shit Happens? or
Funny Shit? or
That Shit is Wrong?
Or your soon-to-be-ex-whatever zeroes your bank account.
I’m not saying I have experience in this matter, but I know a guy who knows a guy…
