Is the fashion chain **French Connection** known in the US? The frozen yogurt franchise Menchie’s. This shouldn’t bother me. It’s in no way a play on menstruation, but between menses, menarche, et al. It’s the only image that comes to mind. ---

I’m British – have often seen in Britain, those initials “FCUK” – presumed that they denoted a “sniggery-clever” brand name of something or other; but had never felt interested enough to enquire further.
