# Store-Bought Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix: How Much Per Pie?

I had a jar of pre-mixed pumpkin pie spice lying around my spice cabinet, so I’ll be using that instead of so many fractions of a teaspoon of this, so many of that.

How much pre-mixed spice melange do I need for one pie? I’m using a single 14oz (or is it 15) can of pumpkin for the recipe.

I’d go about 2-3 tsp per pie. The recipe I use calls for a total of 2.25 tsp of overall spice, and that seems just fine to me.
