I have a tantalizing story synopsis stuck in my head. I don’t know whether it’s a book, a comic, or a movie. The protagonist gets infected with zombie virus, and knows he’s going to become a zombie in a short time. He cleverly arranges things so his future zombie self will convey (carry?) his child (daughter?) to a safe place. What is this story, best & brightest? ---

Sounds very similar to a Netflix movie I’m presently watching, called “Cargo”. It’s a very recent release. ---

Thanks, but that’s not it; this was from a year or two ago. ---

It’s definitely cargo. The short film came out a while ago, and it’s recently been redone as a longer feature, which is what Chefguy is probably watching. Really good stuff, especially for such a shopworn theme. Here it is: [![]( " - YouTube") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gryenlQKTbE) ---

Oh yeah, that’s it (the short film). Thanks, guys! ---

Slight hijack: If you’re into zombie films, “The Girl With All The Gifts,” comes highly recommended ( **Sicks Ate** sez so, too).
