Anybody interested in a fantasy hockey league? Yahoo has head to head, rotisserie and fantasy point leagues. I was thinking head to head with a live draft. Taking suggestions and input. If it is a live draft, when is the best time for you? ---

I’m in. Of course my rabid love of the Wings might bias my picks, but with their line-up this year that may not be a bad thing. As far as a draft, As long as it’s not 9-5 monday through Friday I can do it. ---

Of course! Is it already time to register for that? A word to the wise - go Yahoo, not Sandbox. My Sandbox football league draft crashed in the middle of the first round. I think they’ve just been bought out, and they don’t seem to care anymore. And need we say more about who the best hockey fans in the world are? The first three people posting to the fantasy hockey thread are Wing Nuts. ---

The Rockville Crows are in the house. Err, on the ice. Anyway, Yahoo’s telling me the draft is at 8.50pm PDT on the 27th, which is almost midnight on the east coast. Is that correct? Go Crows! Go Flyers! ---

The Furious Flurries are in. (Team Motto: “Try saying _that_ five times fast.”) LadyIce … my info here says the draft is set for 8:50 p.m. PACIFIC TIME. Which would be 11:50 p.m. Eastern Time. No problem for me, as I’m something of a nightowl anyway. But I imagine it will create difficulties for a lot of other people. ---

Ok, this proves that I should not try to add 8+3 that early in the morning. I subtracted the 3 instead. Math is not my strong point. Now that that is out of the way… The draft time has been changed to 6:20pm EST. My apologies to anybody who’s head I messed with this morning.😃 ---
