OK, not really. The quick story is this: My wife has been a long-time SDMB lurker, and in fact, she is the one that introduced me to the board. Even after I quickly fell in love and signed up, she continued to lurk. She’d talked about signing up, but never pulled the trigger. So I made up my mind that a gift subscription would be part of her Christmas gift. I corresponded with the very helpful **TubaDiva** to find out how best to make that happen, got back a wonderful idea, and was all set to go. Until this evening. During another lurking session, my wife was so overwhelmed by the joy SDMB brought her that she could no longer help herself, and my hemming and hawing was no deterrent to her at this point. She’s in! And yes, this whole post is just my way of trying to claim credit for the idea even though she signed herself up. Welcome aboard, **Jakeline** …and, um, Merry Christmas. 😃 ---
