This [thread](https://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/archive/index.php/t-43524.html) is discussed in this 2018 [paper](https://digitalcommons.lsu.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=5617&context=gradschool_dissertations) (pdf) beginning on page 98: Labor and Delivery: Television Performances by Pregnant Actresses From 1948-2016. No point. Just something I came across. This is the first time I’ve seen the SDMB cited in a paper. ---
