# Straight Dope Trademark

Is the registered trademark for The Straight Dope actually “The Straight Dop”? I notice the circle R shows up after the P instead of the E in Dope.
This has probably been asked before, but I couldn’t find it anywhere…

Of course it’s “The Straight Dope.” It’s just a clever way of dealing with the symbol.
Or not so clever. Depends on your view, I suppose.
