The _Times Online_ recently ran an [article](http://www.timesonline.co.uk/printFriendly/0,,1-2-629399,00.html) talking about discovered plans for a miraculous auto carb. What legitamcy can be granted to this contraption? Any?

I should add that in 1979 I sent $5.00 off to get a copy of the blueprints for this carburetor.

My favorite quote from the article linked in the OP.

> [@](#):

> The documents also described how the machine worked by turning petrol into a vapour before it entered the cylinder chamber, reducing the amount of fuel needed for combustion.

Well duh! Only gas vapor will burn. All carbs do this.
This is right up there with the pill that turns water into gas.

1. The article in question is dated March 31. Very close to April 1.

2. The Times (online!) is a rag. This ain’t the NY Times. Following the links, we find The Times (online!) is in bed with [The Sun](http://www.thesun.co.uk/), which, if that doesn’t set off your bullshit whistles, check your pulse.

## Peace.

“What do you call British toilet paper?”

“Tabloids.”
