Another straight guy who doesnā€™t care. There might have been a time in my life when I would have but now? Meh. I havenā€™t done the communal shower thing in awhile but it certainly isnā€™t because Iā€™m afraid of being a gay guyā€™s ogle-ee. ---

Makes absolutely no difference to me. I get more eyeball action in an _onsen_ here just because Iā€™m a _gaijin_ than I would if I were in a communal shower. Iā€™d probably have to go to a gay bathhouse to get a level of attention Iā€™d feel uncomfortable with. ---

I really hate having to shower in front of other guys, period. I get in and get out and keep myself focused on my goal of getting clean. The other men in the shower room are of no interest to me- and I donā€™t particularly care whether they are gay or not.
