They done seen my girlfriend. Though with a background in classical music (especially the pipe organ), a lot of people have made unfounded assumptions that I was gay. Apparently a lot of male organists are gay. Or so I’ve been told… ---

I’m quite private about my sex life, so I’ll get the gaysayers now and again. I’ll periodically out myself, but it doesn’t mean they’ll believe me. Not to worry! ---

I’m out. SO was sitting on a bench talking to a client and I was walking down the hall. After I passed the client ask who I was because the look we exchanged. At that point SO outed herself as well. ---

I’ve been asked quite a few times, especially by straight female friends if I was gay or bisexual. I can be a bit flamboyant, love disco and “gay music” and have lots of LGBT… friends. When I get asked, I just tell them, “Ask my wife, she’ll tell you how “gay” I am!” LOL! Interestingly the other day, a very good, long time friend of mine (who happens to be gay and claims superior “gay-dar”) and I were at DisneySea. I don’t know what the exact subject was but he made the following claim, “You know JpnDude. I never once had any sense that you could be gay. Not even an ounce of gayness in you.” I’m like, “Uhm OK. Well, thanks or, uhm, are we still friends?” LOL! I didn’t know how to react to that. I think I said something like, “I’m sure wifey would be happy to know that!” ---

My current office saw me through the break-up of a three-year relationship and beyond. One of my coworkers actually set me up with the rebound guy. I’m out and proud. ---

I’ve got some people at work pretty confused. I’ve been single a long time, and like it that way. Ok looking and ok to be around. Some people just can’t understand why I would be single, like it’s a defect. I’ve had a couple people come right out and ask me if I was gay. I respond “oh ya big time” sarcastically. Then followed by are you serious ? “I’ll let you figure that out”. People don’t know what to think. Perfect. ---

I am terminally alone. I have no idea what people think is my sexual orientation. During the time I used to act on stage at a pokey little Repertory Theatre, a lot of my friends both from that environment and beyond were gay, and I think some assumptions were made. Working for a straight porn site may have suggested opposite assumptions to the aforementioned. These days I don’t think anybody really cares about me that much to even wonder. ---

Have I ever flat out said “I’m straight”? No, because that’s the default. But I do make no bones about the fact that I like women. Even if some people on a certain other board think I’m a lesbian for some reason. Also, wasn’t he out in his workplace? ---
