Not exactly a surprise. It’s been known for some time that women are naturally more bi than guys. Even the way supposedly straight women interact with each other is pretty weird – lots of touching, hugging, sometimes innocent kissing, and lots of remarks on how hot they, their friends, or celebrities look. Don’t forget about how it’s totally culturally acceptable for a girl to go to college and experiment. If a guy sucks a cock he’s not “finding his way,” he just likes to suck cock.

You have misinterpreted my intentions, seriously. I’m not trying to prove we’re all gay or something. This is not some “Ha, gotcha!” poll, there are no secret intentions. I’m a girl by the way and I’m curious to see whether people will put their heterosexuality first in some extreme hypothetical scenario.

Yes, I divided it by gender to see how straight girls and straight guys differ in flexibility when faced with extreme options. I assumed beforehand that most guys and most girls would go for the girl option. I didn’t put gay options mostly because I was trying to keep it as simple as possible. Although that might be an interesting poll too.

We’re not rating our own appearance. The relevant data to answering your question isn’t that 94% of the men polled are willing to have sex with an unattractive woman - it’s that 77% of the women polled are not willing to have sex with an unattractive man.

I am a girl that is about 98% straight and I’d probably still pick the annoying ugly guy. Why? One, I think I’d be a little too intimidated by this fabulously gorgeous, fun, attractive girl to get into it or relax. Two, well, I just prefer the cock. Can’t help that.

If you hadn’t modified the girl as annoying and unpleasant, I would have gone with that option. I went with the interesting guy option, but in reality would just not have sex, although just hanging out with an interesting and fun gay guy would be a good time. Just didn’t want to indicate that “I’d rather die”. Although probably hyperbolic, that seems a bit extreme.

I can tell the difference between a good looking man and an ugly man, but I can also tell the difference between a good looking dog and an ugly dog. I don’t want to have sex with either. I find the poll question a little odd to consider. I’m about as 100% straight as a guy can get. I can’t imagine any situation aside from being raped where I’d have sex with a guy. Frankly the concept is so foreign to me I can’t imagine how gay men could have sex with a man. I can’t even imagine how any woman could have sex with a man either. I’m just glad that they do. OTOH, I can readily see women who want to have sex with other women, it makes perfect sense to me.
I’m not saying I have no imagination, and can’t comprehend how people can think and feel differently than I do. I’m just talking about the thoughts and emotions that would arise within myself. So you can go have sex with a cactus if you want, it’s not going to bother me at all. As I’ve often told people, I don’t care what kind of sex you are having, I’m only interested in the sex I’m having, and the sex some porn starlets are having.
Something that is more generally odd about the poll, why doesn’t it have choices for gay and bi people? Well the bi categories might not work, but why aren’t people who identify as gay as opposed to straight included?
