# Straight persons: ever kissed someone of the same sex as yourself?

I’m tempted not to define straight. And, in fact, I’m not gonna. You’re straight if you consider yourself straight.
I do, however, which to specify that “kissing” here refers to lip-to-lip contact involving at least one of your tongues entering the other’s mouth.
Oh, and let’s confine ourselves to voluntary osculation, okay? No horror stories if you don’t mind.

Yes, on a couple of occasions. mostly in front of members of the opposite sex to be provocative.

Mika already knows what brought this thread to mind. But I don’t want to be a prurient jerk, so I’ll say that, if only one straight guy fesses up to kissing another male, it’ll be me. It wasn’t a bad kiss, though boobs would have improved it enormously.

In the first place, have you forgotten whom you’re speaking to? I am hardly on the side of hugs, kittens, & lollipops. (Okay, that’s a lie; I like kittens.)
In the second place, the poll warns you to read the OP first, so I wouldn’t feel any pity even if I hadn’t had my heart surgically removed in 1978 and replaced with a kryptonite-powered pump/ray blaster. (Even at 9, I knew that Superman & I would never be friends.)

I answered “maybe to win a bet” but that was before I read about the tongue action. That’s a dealbreaker I think. A little lip-lock I could take.
I suppose maybe if I was a serious actor, and the role required me to french-kiss a guy… well maybe. Other than that I can’t see it happening.

When we were kids, my friend and I were having a sleepover, laying in bed, talking about our very limited knowledge about boys, and were wondering what it felt like to French kiss. So we decided we didn’t want to go full on and try it, but we’re willing to touch tongues. We did. And followed with lots of “ewwww” and giggles afterward. So I’ve sort of kissed a girl but wouldn’t have a reason or desire to do it again.
