hahah. šŸ˜› On a note that isnā€™t poking fun, there has been a rash of this in GD recently. I canā€™t remember the thread, but Gaudere stepped in and asked the posters to refrain. They pleaded ignorance, and promptly started using the correct method. Pick and post. I think that if you do notice someone doing that, if you **nicely** point out to them that itā€™s considered rude, they will stop doing so. ---

Although seriousness is starting to look waaaay out of place in this thread. If you hit the ā€œquoteā€ button at the bottom of the post instead of hitting ā€œpost replyā€ on the top/bottom bar, you automatically get the whole post quoted and bolded. I guess if you arenā€™t good with vB or just lazy you end up with the whole thing. I note also that this gives the poster an opportunity to respond to a particular post without considering all the posts that follow, and so I consider it evil. Iā€™m pretty used to using ā€œpost replyā€ and then manually cutting and pasting sections that I want to address. Even got into the habit of using Notepad after all the board slowdowns/misposts/reposts. ---

Yes, itā€™s an annoying trend. It makes it real hard for me, with the attention span of a four-year-old, to follow a thread. But how do you do the ā€œSoAndSo said:ā€ part of it? It doesnā€™t look like itā€™s spelled out on the ā€œvB codeā€ page. ---

**Ren** : OH! Thanks! Iā€™ve been cutting and pasting with quote in brackets. Shows that I should take the time to try all the buttons. Nah. K-Y is a good choice, **TC**. It is easier to clean up than Vasaline and wonā€™t attack the rubber chicken. Tip for all: Donā€™t use Vasaline to lubricate latex condoms. Theyā€™ll dissolve in action. ---
