What is your favorite strange election prediction? I heard today that Kerry will win because he blinks his eyes less. My favorite is the _Weekly Reader_ presidential poll. This poll of 1st-12th graders has correctly predicted every winning presidential candidate since 1956. This time Bush won with over 60% of the vote. I’m just amazed that a mock election by grade schoolers has been correct in 11 consecutive elections, making it “one of the most accurate predictors of presidential outcomes in history”. Google “weekly reader presidential poll” for sites with more info. ---

I am making observations to see if my own little theory is correct–that Kerry’s publicized Jewish ancestry means he will not be elected. Today, Fox News kept announcing that his grandparents were Jewish. Wait and see. I think Bush will win. ---

There’s a sheikh/aamil in Pakistan (a Muslim who deals with astrology, spells, magic, predictions, and that sort of stuff) my Dad knows of. Although most experts predict Kerry will win, this sheikh sahib says Bush will win. He has not been wrong so far, or so they say. This is my favorite weird prediction - some occultist in Pakistan. 🙂 WRS ---

Based on the betting parlors in Merry Ole Blighty it’s Bush in a walk over. At least that’s the way the money is going there. ---

Proponents of the “Halloween masks” theory were vindicated, while subscribers to the “height makes right” notion saw 6’3" John Kerry come up short against 5’11" George W. Bush.
