Sir, you WOUND me. As it happens, I’m a champagne Socialist leaning to the left of the Libertarians.
Pork rinds, for me, are about a twice-a-year thing. You know, like Spam, eggs and kimchi over rice for breakfast.
Any Koreans want to back me up on this?
Bonuses to pork rinds:
They’re crunchy
They have excellent shelf life (and half-life, too probably)
They can be found almost anywhere when you have a need for them (UNLIKE cops, prostitutes, and copies of The Princess Bride)
Usually, they are so disgusting that you can have as many as you want without sharing (unlike, say, Cool Ranch Doritos or Pringles)

Oh,I just thought of another of mine.
Take French bread (either boule or baguette), butter liberally and put under the broiler. Open a can of kippers , place on half-toasted bread, continue toasting until edges are brown 'n crunchy. Top with Dijon and horseradish straight from the jar-no cream. This is HEAVEN, provided you like fishy things. I also found squid snacks in a Japantown store in San Francisco one time. Dried salty squid marinated in chili peppers. Excellent.

Pizza with chocolate milk…I never understood why that made people cringe.

My “Make-a-pot-of-sauce-every-Sunday” Italian wife was ready to divorce me when I put strips of american cheese on top of my spaghetti. I now only do this when she’s not around.

Peanut butter and american cheese sandwich.

Since I arguably fall into that classification myself, here’s my submission:

Take two pieces of white bread. Wonder bread, not that artisan bread stuff. Lavishly smear both with that chocolate peanut butter spread. Top with M&Ms, plain or peanut, whatever floats your boat. Top that with sliced banana. Put both pieces together. Serve with plain milk. Await arrival of sugar-induced buzz.

My brother and my dad once got into a contest to see qho could make the grossest sandwich possible. With the caveat that each of them had to _eat_ their sandwich.

My brother won, with a **ham, peanut butter, American cheese, M&M’s, and Fritos sandwich**. I do not believe he actually added any marshmallows, though.

I have a couple, the first one I mentioned yesterday in the French Fry thread - I occasionally dip my fries in chocolate shakes.

I also like to put dill pickle slices on my tacos. If it’s soft tacos I have a system, I will line up 3 or 4 dill chips down the middle of the tortilla, then put the meat directly on them and then the rest of the fillings like a normal person. Vlasic Dill chips are the best. I think it’s the vinegar/crunchy addition that I like.

This isn’t especially strange, but I find it odd that more people haven’t tried peanut butter on ice cream. Crunchy is best, of course.

Another yummy combo: graham cracker and butter sandwiches.

_Banana Quik_

What’s wrong with Banana Quik? It’s very good, much better than that over-sugared Strawberry Quik.

I’m still amazed that someone thought up of putting together ham and pineapple.

Hmmm should I share all of my weird food stories or just some???

Dill Pickles dipped in peanut butter (crunchy)
Melted nacho cheese chopped olives all spread into a bologna sandwhich yummmmmm
Chicken with ALOT of garlic salt on it
garlic salt on everything basically
And there was the failed bread dipped in chocolate experiment (college kids will try anything)

Okay so maybe I’m kinda weird at least I didn’t share everything…

I’ve always believed that if two foods taste good separately, they’ll taste good together. This led to a challenge in college that I couldn’t eat dry tuna mixed with chocolate pudding. I ate it. It tasted like dry tuna and chocolate pudding. Not bad at all.

That really doesn’t sound all that bad. Add some chocolate frosting on the bread and it would be perfect!

A couple of my favorite combos involve cottage cheese:

- Cottage cheese and applesauce
- Cottage cheese mixed with a little Campbell’s Vegetable Beef soup.
- Cottage cheese mixed with mashed potatoes (have the potatoes on the side of the CC)

We also used to put chocolate frosting on saltine crackers…yummy!!!

With a screen name like **Tit Whistle** we’re gonna get along jes’ fine. Glad to have one of your first posts in my thread. Keep on whistlin’!

Yes **Atropos** , your casserole sounds like the one. My culinary challenged stepmother may have omitted the buttered noodles and served it on rice, but you’ve got the basic ingredients. Why, I just had tuna on toast just last night. Would you be so kind as to post it to my Ultimate Recipe Thread?

**Tracer** , what’s wrong with _Trout Quick_? When ever I want _Trout Quick_ I just drop a grenade in the water and get trout _real_ quick.

**Dire Wolf** , I once considered apples and cheese to be very strange. That is, until I tried it. Now some sharp Cheddar and a Granny Smith make me salivate.

Strangely enough **HelloKitty** , the cottage cheese with vegetable beef soup sounds pretty good. Do you use the condensed soup undiluted? That’s how I’d do it. I originally learned to like sour cream by having it in vegetable beef soup.

And now, in **Tit Whistle** ’s tradition of, “If they’re good separately, they’ll be fine together,” I shall leave you all with yet one more strange, but really good combo.

Sashimi tuna and thinly sliced raw filet mignon all dipped into industrial strength wasabi and soy sauce.

Don’t knock it unless you’ve tried it. If you like beef carpaccio and enjoy sushi, this one’s for you.
